October 27, 2022 - We got this bottle from a friend when he left the country. It started out nicely, but then became dominated with acids and tannins, with little fruit.

February 2, 2020 - Full bodied Sangiovese. Tuscan in boldness. Beautiful fruit and tannins. This cold probably go a little longer but why wait? Awesome now.

September 14, 2017 - Balanced, smooth - drank after an hour and over the next 4. I didn't find this acidic. This is more in a bigger/fuller style of a of sangiovese, like a Brunello.

May 27, 2016 - A bit too acidic initially, with a strong bouquet of new oak and plummy notes on the palate; begins softening out 35 minutes in. Drank well for 3+ hours. 14.3% ABV.

February 6, 2015 - At home with leftovers, in an effort to punch up an ordinary dinner. Decanted through a Vinituri, drank over 2 hours. This was open for business right away, adding some complexity over the evening...

Medium red/ruby color, clear and clean, no sediment. Great nose of red fruits. Palate of red fruits, strawberries, raspberries, candied cherry, plums, baking spices. Comes alive on the mid palate and finish. Mouthfeel is lush and smooth.

This is in a very good spot right now, I think it will hold for 10+ but best guess is to drink over the next 5 years. This is a wine that shows best when you get the bright red fruits and the right pairing. Very nice wine from Leonetti...

September 23, 2014 - I opened this bottle after a 05 Tignanello. In stark contrast it drank well right out of the bottle with strawberry and cherry on the nose. Tannins were round with beautiful spice and a nice finish. Drinking beautifully right now.

June 12, 2014 - Very nice bottle of wine! Color medium dark. Nice legs. Nice aroma of red fruit - predominantly strawberry and raspberry. Flavor is refined and elegant. Good mouthfeel. Red fruit dominate - again strawberr/raspberry. Some pepper and leather. Tannins are relatively well integrated. Long finish. Predominantly old world in style IMO but with a touch of new world fruit. Very enjoyable!
