June 12, 2023 - This was big and ripe; black raspberry, black cherry, some forest floor and earth/mushroom are developing; good, but maybe lacks a little balance and energy
March 11, 2019 - Aging nicely. Some ripeness of the vintage.
January 14, 2018 - Very nice. Not too old but it’s a typical archery summit which is a bit over extracted. I am enjoying.
November 8, 2016 - Big, rich, ripe and lush - not a typical Oregon pinot, but typical of the 2006 vintage and very tasty-. Dark cherry with good depth and an earthy, souis-bois character. It strikes me as still being in its drinking window with plenty of fresh fruit, great balance and nice grip. This wine was properly stored since its' release.
November 8, 2015 - Drinking very well. I know about the comments Archery Summit too expensive for what you get. May be bottle to bottle but mine is very balanced, good fruit and dark cherry and currant. Earthy mushroom as you would expect from an Oregon Pinot.
October 27, 2015 - Past its time.
October 11, 2015 - Wedding weekend wine tasting! (Willamette Valley): Completely disagree with the previous note, but perhaps it was in a dumb phase a few months ago or maybe the fact that we drank from winery stored helped us. This wine was really lovely and possibly the best of the Archery Summit vintage tasting. Nice and complex and good fruit and light tannin and I thought came across almost on the younger side. Very good.
June 27, 2015 - Acceptable, mellow wine. Not much kick or fruit. Nose is largely gone. Should have had a while ago. If you have any left (I have 2 more), do not delay drinking.
April 19, 2015 - starts out strong with berries and cherries but fades quick to light fruit and acidity.
September 5, 2014 - Good but not great. These wines are really good in great years for Oregon but are overpriced in typical years. This was better several years back. I let this one age to see how it would hold up. At 40 I would consider it a really good value but not over 100
