October 6, 2011 - really nice wine...last voucher buy..nose started to open up with plumb, some leather - drank really nice with good upfront fruit of dark cherry, slight touch of cocoa nice tannin hit of pepper spice- really should have plopped this in the decanter

September 2, 2011 - Fruity. Dark. Good body. Smooth for a syrah.

April 18, 2010 - fresh turned earth, crushed raspberry, mineral, wet forest, violets, much better with some air and food. Had with lamb, great match to bring out the earthiness. One of my favorite JC syrahs.

November 13, 2008 - Near black purple color. Dense fruit, high acid on mid-front palate, with lots of dark fruit, raspberry and a hint of greenness. Perhaps good with lamb, N. African spice.
