May 28, 2010 - This is a rare and fantastic wine. Local and really impressive without hyperbole. Has a flinty minerality over a definite but not overwhelming malolactic effect on the palate. Butterscotch is noticeable. Everything seems nicely in balance. Great wine.

December 11, 2008 - This is one of those rare small-producer wines that tastes better at home a few weeks later than it did at the winery. This is a rich wine has a slightly green golden color. The nose is slightly ashy and floral. On the palate, the wine is full and rather unctuous. Malolactic fermentation is definite, but not overwhelming, allowing the citrus, honeydew, and mineral notes to come through. Caramel and butterscotch round out this wine in nice balance. This is wine worth trying!
