August 5, 2023 - Very respectable showing. Everything was in place but not overly memorable. Drink up.

May 6, 2022 - It’s a beauty that has gracefully aged and was a hit with the chicken and red wine mushroom sauce (ok, we through in some ramps too, in season mind you). Cassis and dark fruit on the nose. The tannins are aging with grace but still have some life, and the fruit is muted but begonias and earthy almost mushroom quality surrounds your palate with much satisfaction.

March 30, 2022 - Elegant but muted. Not much development ahead would be my guess.

March 5, 2022 - Medium to deep ruby in appearance. Very impressive color at age 21 or so.

Fully mature aromas of black fruits, baking spice , vanilla and savory herbs. The aromas are evolved and pronounced but are in no way tired or fatigued.

Medium plus to full bodied with very strong flavor concentration and a gorgeous mouthfeel. Medium acidity and still plenty of tannic structure (in a good way) that bodes well for further cellaring if desired. The finish is definitely long.

Overall a great effort that is fully mature but could likely last another decade plus in a cold cellar.
