August 31, 2023 - Drank over several days. Deep ruby colour. Black and blue fruit, herbal and iodine notes. Delicate dark red fruit on the plate, anchored by fine ripe tannins and just the right amount of acidity; slightly bitter note on the end. Reminds me of Leoville Barton with just little more fruit. Although approachable now, this wine has another 3 to 5 years to go before it reaches maturity and then it will coast for a while.

April 22, 2017 - Good solid Cab, pretty tight out of the bottle and even after 2 hours of decanting. Just don't get the feeling that this one is at the end of it's drinking window.

March 19, 2017 - Agree that this is on the downside of the high expectations Rudy offers through Post single vineyard cabs. That being said, we still enjoyed Rudy's artistry and competency in producing wines that endure.
Our fault for not drinking sooner.
