Community Tasting Notes 9

July 28, 2019 - This was really lovely. Yes, very dark golden color; very oxidized; but the flavor is so smooth. Yes, I can see the sherry comparison, but this seems a bit different. It is a bit like a dessert wine without the sweetness. This was great at the end of an evening -- as a post dinner drink by itself. Lovely nutty flavors, very smooth. Curious about how this well develop but will never know, as this is my last bottle.

May 6, 2012 - I did not expect anything like this from a wine from the Loire Valley. Not sure if it was meant to be this way or if the bottle was oxydized, but this bottle tasted more like sherry than a fresh, fruity and mineral chenin blanc or sauvignon blanc from Loire. A bit disappointing, really.

    April 5, 2012 - Horribly oxidized.

December 8, 2011 - oxidized, not showing the sweetness of past bottles, cork was a bit loose. still drinkable- but def on its way down.

December 7, 2011 - A bit harsh. Not much fruit. Had an oxidized taste.
