April 6, 2010 - Very pale colour. Grapefruit and a bit of melon on the nose. Grapefruit on the palate, but somewhat rind-y and bitter.

December 11, 2009 - Impressive for the price. Behaved similarly to Kim Crawford, but was a bit lighter on the overwhelming grapefruit and acid so I actually found it more enjoyable to drink. A bit of orange citrus fruits as well.

October 3, 2009 - Color light yellow with green highlights, medium-light body. Nose is kiwi, limes, green peas, fresh cut grass, and a hint of slate. Approaching effervescent on the palate, with bright lime and lemon flavors plus white grapefruit on the attack and finish, some white grape juice with mild sweetness in the mid, and some mild minerality in the background throughout. High acidity (maybe even too much for some SB drinkers), relatively short finish. Good concentration of fruit, clean and refreshing, not a lot of complexity. Overall quite good.

September 30, 2009 - Lots of green pea and citrus notes on the nose. More of the same on the palate along with fresh cut grass. Lemon/lime flavors really come through along with some tropical fruit. Great acid makes this a terrific food wine. One of the better NZ sauv blancs I have had at this price point. Would definitely rebuy.

July 25, 2009 - Light straw color. Grapefruit, citrus, grass notes on the nose and palate. A hint of sweetness rounds this wine out but zippy acidity makes it really refreshing and enjoyable. Great summer bbq white wine for the money.

January 25, 2009 - Very exotic and different Sauvignon Blanc. Could have fooled me in a blind tasting for perhaps a Chablis. Has body, texture and complexity like that of Chardonnay, but without any oak at all. Rich acidity, vibrant, and dynamic. Lots of tropical fruits like pineapple, papaya, mango, even hints of coconut. Nice nuttiness. Grapenut cereal.
