September 13, 2014 - The age softened it up nicely. Easy drinking. Drunk up
December 25, 2013 - This is quite drinkable after a decanter and a couple of hours. Didn't let me down. Carried two bottles back from the States and now the effort has been vindicated. Drinking perfectly now, deep berries, light chocolate and medium to long length. One more left and will have to knock that off soon. Enjoy ASAP.
October 8, 2013 - Not as good as I once remembered. Might have waited too long for this bottle. Smells wonderful but a bit of a bite in taste
June 1, 2013 - Cork was disintegrating although wine still very enjoyable
January 6, 2013 - It's funny how the same wine can taste so different under different circumstances or at a later date, but this was delightful tonight. A wonderful, full bouquet -- complex and intriguing with nuanced earthy notes. A very long finish with tastes of ripe red berries. Just delightful.
December 31, 2012 - Didn't hold up to the other gems we were drinking that night. Still had some life left.
November 26, 2012 - Better than your average daily drinker. Nice nose of berries and strawberry. Simple but solid structure, tastes of dark berries, little strawberry, with a nice, distinct vanilla and black cherry finish. This was a gift, but will buy some next chance I get.
August 24, 2012 - Still plenty of life left. Smooth finish.
May 26, 2012 - I really enjoyed this wine. Not very complex and very soft finish. It's not an amazing knock your socks off type of wine but fairly subtle and easy to drink.
February 26, 2012 - Decent bottle but nothing special. Improved slightly with some time in the decanter.
