December 8, 2023 - Tasted a bit restrained at first, decanted in a travel bottle. Really started to open at dinner about a hour later and seemed to continue to open throughout the meal. It showed cherries, other fruits some dried and slight bit of tar. The finish was long and smooth to the end. Out to dinner with a group of wine friends so very busy and a lot of wines to taste but this one stood out.

October 23, 2021 - Garnet, almost rusty color. On opening, nose is leather, oak, and olive. Body is medium. Tannins are surprisingly strong.
With food after one hour decant, leather notes more subtle. Mushroom notes are strong. Fruit is muted. Clearly high quality, but not extraordinary1 person found this helpful Comment -
