July 16, 2020 - Cellared since 2010. Maple syrup and baking spices on the nose, with a whiff of alcohol. Brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, raisin, and wet stone on the palate. Finish lingers for almost 3 minutes. Not sure it hits Parker’s 100, but it’s close. Should easily keep for another 5+ years.

October 16, 2019 - Thick, unctuous texture, with a dark brown color that is lighter at the edges. Brown sugar on the nose. Sweet notes of creme brûlée, raisins, very ripe fig, toffee, lemon juice, and cocoa dust, and savory notes of blood orange and mincemeat. Aggressive acids to balance the sweetness. Truly excellent stuff. Expertly paired with Jack Daniels and Bitters cherry pie.
