October 22, 2022 - Ruby, slight fading to edge. Lovely wine, blue and blackberries, touch of menthol, lots of dark meat, licorice and some spices. Great balance, great acidity and length. Great wine. Carries it alcohol well. Very good.
May 23, 2021 - I'm starting to think that the "factor" is so underrated compared to Runrig that it is therefore a absolute bargain at auction. tried blind it was easy to pick as Barossa and with some lovely sweet blackberry and perfumed nose. it was a deep crimson purple still and rich and decadent and clearly with at least another 15 years to go. i picked it as 2015. it was a baby. well worth seeking out. not in the class of Standish but still a lovely wine. and if you can find it, try the 2002, its amazing

November 12, 2017 - Wow et rewow, j'ai eu la chance de goûter au Torbreck Runrig 04 qui pour ma part à été meilleur que le Penfolds Grange 98 bue lors d'une dégustation de vin Australien, je n'avais pas beaucoup d'attente pour le Torbeck The Factor qui a un rabais de 30 dollars à la SAQ depuis un moment ,mais vraiment extraordinaire,à racheter au plus vite !

November 6, 2015 - Delicious and luscious. Drank over a 2 hour period after letting it breathe for 15 minutes. Deep and rich with a lovely mouthfeel and long finish. Great with venison and braised short rib, which we split with the bottle. Highly recommended and this still has room to continue aging.
June 16, 2015 - Inky purple. Camphor, blueberry, blackberry, and white pepper. Plush mouthfeel with loads of glycerin. Almost too rich and over the top.
