July 10, 2022 - developed with tertiary aromas, tannins are smooth but still powerful and can further age

March 15, 2008 - With little available information on this wine and I had no recollection to what I paid for it (guessing $20-$25), I was unsure what to expect and was figuring this might end being used for cooking, not drinking!

A medium bodied wine upon opening it filled the room with wonderful aromatics to the point where people actually commented. Deep red in color with no bricking around the edges the bouquet was delightful. Smooth but not like a high end wine this was just "a nice bottle of wine". I need to find more about this and seek this wine out as well as possibly others from this producer. Definitely worth a try if you like Italian reds.
