January 25, 2024 - This showed beautifully. a light mouthfeel, substantial body, and some sweetness on entry - maybe due to vintage - Clear color, fragrant northern rhone goodness. One of the better wines I have enjoyed

December 12, 2023 - Saw this in a rsstaurant in Japan and knew that I had to have it. Lovely minerality, and a herbaceous note that I enjoyed. Not as dense as I expected it to be, which is a good thing (for me). Lithe, savoury and a joy to consume over two days.

October 1, 2023 - Allemand v Chave Los Angeles edition: This vintage was such a great one for allemand. I love how the wine sparkles from the minerality and it feels so herbacious and black fruited. It's just incredibly well balanced right now with a deep flavor profile that shows it still has some time to go before it hits its peak.

August 26, 2023 - Bürklin-Wolf Tasting with Nicola Libelli (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Zalto Burgundy
Tasted completely blind. Popped and poured. Clear, deep dark ruby color. Beautiful complex nose with some cherry, tar, speck, spices and espresso.
On the palate high acidity, beautiful fine, dried, red fruit, very mineral, tar, speck. High, ripe tannin. Good balance, beautiful grip and tension, deep and dense. Long, complex finish. Still not at its full peak, give it 5 more years. 93+
