April 5, 2022 - great body, full and ....not old.

July 9, 2021 - Aging beautifully despite repeat cork issues (disintegration despite professional temperature-controlled cellaring).

September 8, 2020 - Solid, weighty, dark berried, and earthy. This Pinot from a hot vintage is aging nicely. Too bad the corks continue to disintegrate. I need to accelerate my consumption due to Domaine Serene's faulty seals. Be mindful if you have a large supply in the cellar. The good news is that the juice inside is delicious!

November 16, 2016 - The corks from Domaine Serene's 2016 vintage leave much to be desired -- I have experienced many repeat issues with their bottlings having dry, deteriorated corks, particular on the Jerusalem Hill and Cote Sud vineyards.

That said, the 2006 Jerusalem Hill is aging beautifully. I have had so much trouble with the corks that I think it has impacted the quality of the wine being stored in the bottles. This time around, however, no cork problems ... and the wine shows ... it's beautiful! I can only hope that the remaining bottles in my cellar don't have the same trouble as the ones in the past...
