Community Tasting Notes 3

April 21, 2022 - From small capped bottle. Slightly corked, but also not bad - super herbal and tobacco. Old gentle fruit. Tertiary - I find it very pretty. Savory on the palate and tobacco with a bit of soy and nutty. Very umami. I like it.

June 11, 2012 - My Birthday celebration Tasting (Extra Space, Boon Keng): 1st wine in the tasting, pop and pour, clear ruby colour with brick red hue. Subtle nose of dried fruits, mineral and light hints of floral and rose pedal. Slowly open up after 30 minutes, very smooth on palate with dried fruits and nice acidity. Soft, a little spice come through at the finish. Tannins has fully dissolve and quite enjoyable at this moment although lack of mid-palate and finish.

December 25, 2005 - Red color, starting to brown. The nose is spicy, with minerals, a little bell pepper, and some cedar. Decent fruit on the palate, but almost no tannin, this feels a little too soft. The body is definitely sagging, this is on the down side. Not a bad wine, just a little too old.
