  October 12, 2014 - Somewhat astringent upon P&P but after being open 1.5+ hours, it opened up to be a decent cab. Definitely needed more air. Next bottle will get a few hours and perhaps even a Vinturi decant first. The oak is still not integrated enough and may never get to that point

  October 2, 2012 - Decanted 2 hrs before re-bottling for tasting. Oak has diminished over the last 17 months and fruit is more prominent. A good daily drinker, but I have too many already, including 6 more of these. Will re-visit in 6+ months.

  May 10, 2011 - Oak was too pronounced on P&P, but with a couple pours through a Vinturi, some fruit came forward. Much better on day two after being re-corked with some argon gas. For $10, a pretty good daily drinker with plenty of aeration.

  November 16, 2010 - Not integrated oak smells standing above the fruit on the nose. Palate also shows quite a bit of non-intergrated oak tannin. A touch mean as a cabernet, but just opened. Hopefully air will bring it back down to earth. Or just time.
