April 29, 2011 - I enjoyed this wine because i loved the hint of pepper on the nose and tasting it, the pepper and other spices were there. Easy to drink and had a rather short finish.

March 25, 2011 - A strong pepper aroma and a hint of blackberry. I almost want to sneeze after smelling this. It feels a little disjointed with some black fruit, pepper, and alcohol. I can drink this, but it isn't something I would recommend.

March 8, 2011 - Drincable, but thin, a nit harsh. I think this is the worse Cameron Hughes wine that I have had so far.

March 29, 2010 - Thin and light. A good amount of dusty cherry plus some juicebox strawberry flavor. Some spice, but not what I would call delicious. Better with food.

February 7, 2010 - I've had several bottles of Cameron Hughes recently and was quite impressed. Those were a little higher price range ($15-$20). This one is definitely not as good. OK for the price, I suppose, but I won't buy again. A light wine tasting of strawberries and cherries, but with a funky, lower quality grenachey taste at the end (not a good funk). A bite on the aftertaste with some pepper and other harsh spices.

February 6, 2010 - Had bottle without food. Unbalanced, heavy alcohol taste on the palate. Probably better paired with food instead of alone.
