August 22, 2016 - Slightly deep straw color, nose has some barnyard funk. Mouthfeel is full while the flavor of citrus and green apple emerge. On the finish is mineral and very late, butter notes. Very tight when opened and was more enjoyable the second day.

April 19, 2012 - Pears and apples on the nose. Soft mouthfeel. Pears with a touch of butter on the palate. Nice wine, but I was expecting more.

January 9, 2012 - Nose of hazelnut, honey, lime, cheese, almond, and lemon preserve. Palate of honeyed nuts, lemon, lime, gravel, and green apple. Drank at cellar temp, but the wine really opened up after 30 min of air and once it warmed up a bit more. Rocked with herbed roasted chicken and wild mushroom-butternut squash bread pudding.
