January 13, 2013 - Much to my surprise, this Shiraz is still a fantastic wine after nearly 14 years in the bottle. The layers of fruit seduce the palate and make this full bodied wine a great accompaniment to beef or lamb but equally enjoyable on its own. Wish I had more!

March 6, 2012 - Nose of eucalyptus, pain grille, black berry sauce and leather. Medium body, acidity, alcohol and tannins. Tannins are fully resolved. Replays on the palate; wine is a bit grape juice-y, but I've found many ripe, extracted Barossa Shiraz, like this, adopt such a profile after about a decade. Sweet fruit, but preferable dry finish, with decent length (~30 sec).

December 21, 2010 - Very rich nose, dark fruits (cherry, currant) and also some raisin. Sweet fruits, some little peppery notes as well as chocolate. Very long.

February 20, 2010 - If you have this drink it now!
This is the last of my bottles and it wasn't as nice or as memorable as the last couple of bottles.
    Still a really nice drink.
    Needed to filter and decant.

October 19, 2009 - Pretty darn good. Rich fruit with a bit of eucalyptus, pretty smooth. Not as big a wine as the 1998 which I had last night.
