November 19, 2020 - Colour surprisingly light for an (old) zinfandel. Nose fairly muted... will have to see if it opens up tomorrow. Nice cherry flavours no tannins left with nice acidity to finish cleanly. Alcohol predominates a bit too much. Almost more like a fairly mature Pinot Noir rather than a Zin. Overall pleasantly suprised.

August 6, 2009 - 8/09 Good nose - sweet/sour fruit - off-balanced - past its window - sat on counter for 2 days - greatly improved - edge is off and balance restored - initially gave it 86 pts. - change to 89 pts.
