January 17, 2021 - Excellent. Drinking beautifully at 12 years, and has another 5 or 10.
November 3, 2020 - We enjoyed this with a steak and baked potato. Excellent fit. We ate everything and drank the whole bottle before we knew it.
January 25, 2019 - Deep colour, almost murky garnet, some fading. Tobacco, cherry nose; blackberry, acid, moderate length. Simple, pleasant, good food wine.

September 1, 2014 - Decanted for an hour out of the cellar and served with grilled steak and bbq pulled chicken. Good nose, spice and tobacco on the palate short finish. Well liked by all a.round the table
June 27, 2014 - Very light for a Malbec. Short to medium finish. Dark berries, but muted. Went well with BBQ chicken salad.
August 11, 2012 - i generally dont like Malbecs, but on the advice of other members, i decanted for about 2 hours. it was smooth with verysoft fruit, short finish. Went perfectly with a jambalaya.
February 18, 2012 - Decanted as per the recommendations. On first try I am reminded of prunes. This wine has an astringent quality that I kind of like and the tannins are really in your face. Not bad, but not really anything to write home about either. I have to differ with those who describe this as a fruity wine. I don't find it the least bit fruity. Dry, astringent and tannic is not fruity for me.
October 7, 2011 - Needs time to show up, try 2 plus hours.
August 27, 2011 - This wine needs to be decanted. It develops a nice creamy palate and a great allspice nose after a few hours.
