  March 3, 2012 - Very light ruby color. Mineral/hot stone nose with heavy red fruits. Nuance of nutmeg or cardamom on the nose yielding a sweet spiciness.
  
  Attack of raspberry and strawberry, quick drop to an astringent mouthfeel and sour bite that overpowers the finish. Thin but not completely weak body. Overall non-complex.
  
  Strong acids on this wine keep it from being an excellent standalone experience, but pairs great with a milder food such as a grilled pork chop and a tomato side dish. Or maybe a nice cheddar cheese.

  October 23, 2011 - Earthy, full, lush, round raspberry fruit, with restrained oak. More raw intensity than polish and finese, but it does taste nice. Does not suffer from 2007 vintage issues.

  January 16, 2011 - Excellent nose of juicy wild blueberry pie and cellar must. The juiciness continues on the palate, flavors of dark cherry and warm earth, the light side of medium body, alcohol and acid are in balance. Good to drink alone or with seafood or pasta dishes. I had it with bean soup; so basically alone.
