February 25, 2017 - Terrific wine. Still has plenty of life. No decant needed.

June 7, 2016 - Took a little while to open up, but once it did it was tremendous. Recommend decanting 2 hours before drinking.

April 22, 2012 - A fairly tannic wine that worked quite well with a dry aged steak. The nose seemed somewhat muted and wasn't much of a indication of what the wine would taste like. A very dark wine that tasted like a Napa Cab - Petite Sirah love child. The prominent dark fruit and tannin combination made this a meat lover's wine.

December 3, 2011 - San Antonio Wine Geeks - Double Blind Cali Cabs (Home of Steve T.): Last wine tasted and admittedly my palate was rather fatigued as I missed this on first pass. Toasty nose with some black currant character. Quite tannic on the palate, but seemingly polished, though finished with slightly dry harsh tannins. I like the fruit underneath the tannins and with a little time this may come together nicely, as it doesn’t seem over oaked or over ripe. Score is how it's currently drinking. 88-90
