November 12, 2011 - Pale yellow, with equally pale lemon, tarragon and white flowers on both nose and palate. Very thin in mouthfeel, and pillowy-soft on the palate as it nears room temperature. Drink up NOW, or cook with it later.

May 4, 2011 - Fresh, clean and yet without any flavor. Despite that small problem, it is fine, could be worse...

November 20, 2010 - I maintain my previous position on the quality and value of this wine, though having recently had some really good white burgundies from Macon and Vire-Clesses, I can see the limitations; the fruit is less fulsome, the depth shallower, more simple, but nonetheless representative of the region.

September 17, 2010 - Lemon, green apple and a slight melon flintiness. Palate shows lemon, some steel and a very small amount of butter. Medium full.

June 8, 2010 - My prior opinion stands on second drinking, amply supported by Dulcie's fulsome praise. I even paid full price for this, and would continue to do so. There are really very few quality, low-price products from this region. This is one.

May 13, 2010 - I have to take issue with some of the TNs on this one. We thought this to be a cracker for the money. Warm golden yellow, some nice minerality on the nose; the taste took time to develop but was nicely oaked with vibrant lemon, acidity, minerality, very tasty and mouth-filling, clean and crisp. No it's not just for cooking or spritzing, unless your yardstick is Montrachet. Drinking this on the heels of a real cheap and vapid Gazela that CTers were worshiping with 87 pt ratings, it's hard to reconcile with the much more scornful ratings for this far superior product. Oh well.

May 7, 2010 - Fair. Pale straw color. Green apples with a touch of lemon and a hint of minerals. Nothing special, but not terrible either. My wife tasted it and then made a spritzer. That about sums it up. <Wow/Very Good/Good/Fair/Plonk>

August 25, 2009 - I loved the subtle nose of lychee and pear. It was very light on the palate, but very refreshing. Just the right balance to pair with seafood...Went well with macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi!

June 14, 2009 - White Burgundy Tasting - LeRoy, Ramonet, Bonneau du Matray and more: First wine of the afternoon. Pale yellow to white color. Crushed rocks, zippy acidity, lemon juice, light custard, and white flowers. Very steely. At $10 per bottle, this is a nice wine for the price.
