October 12, 2010 - Drank w Rachel w butternut Mac & cheese.
September 23, 2010 - Lacking real fruit to get to the next level. Thin.
July 23, 2010 - A little harsh on first opening but mellows with standing for a while or pouring through a Vinturi. Nicely balanced - very enjoyable.
July 3, 2010 - don't buy again, better wines for a couple of $ more
July 2, 2010 - Not worth buying again, much better value at a few $ more.
June 7, 2010 - Simple, fresh, light, enjoyable; drink up
May 31, 2010 - Strawlike appearance. Very watered down with little fruit. Cherry and cola flavors.
May 18, 2010 - Earthiness and smoke on the nose, little fruit aromas to speak of. I keep looking over my shoulder for a fire I get so much smoke. No tannins and a water like finish. A sourness and dirty flavor. Maybe a hint of sour cherry. The smoke makes the wine(which is sad). The pyro in me wants to just sit an smell the "burnt wine" all night which is the only reason I gave it a 80.
April 10, 2010 - Red/brick colour. Nose of cherry, and some strawberry, a little animal, see leather, with some caramel. The mouth had firm structure. Present, smooth tannins and good acidity. Cherry, stalky, some plum/prune. Could have been more complex, but what was there was appreciable. Drink now.
March 23, 2010 - Nothing remarkable, but completely drinkable -- simple but balanced, and to me that's worth a lot: a wine with a beginning, a middle, and an end, and it's in harmony; drink now
