October 17, 2019 - Glue, spice and with too much acidity. Very lean and you get the impression the fruit is gone. Must have been a bad bottle.

June 22, 2019 - Tasted blind next to the 08, was fairly obvious this was the 07. The profile of this wine is much more about soil and earth with hints of red fruits here and there. The 07 vintage was lighter and more expressive in the beginning and is maturing at a faster pace than the 08.

April 22, 2019 - Tasted blind. Easily identifiable as Burgundy- light red, sour cherries, slight stemmy quality. Definitely representative of the vintage, but balanced if on the leaner side. Drink it if you have it.

February 13, 2019 - From a vertical of Mugnier's Marechal 2004 to 2016. The most positive surprise of the tasting (although not the best wine). LIght colour, certain signs of maturing at the rim. Beuatiful nose dominated by tertiary aromas like camphor, cedar, leather and tobacco (one of the tasters said "pickled tobacco", and although I have never smelled that I fully understand what he means). Medium body, sweet attack in the mouth, nice sweetness dominated by dried cherries, as well as clear nutty tone. Fine acidity, almost no tannins left. A mature NSG without any hard edges, just a pleasure to drink.
