October 21, 2014 - No complexity to speak of but round, smooth, harmoneneus and so on.

March 30, 2007 - HDH 1998 Right Bank Tasting (Tru): Full red color. Medium spicy acidic red fruit - almost a hot note. Nicer on the palate with round smooth red fruit. Nothing really serious though.

(Clos des Jacobins St Emilion) Good colour, still a hint of youth. A nose of cashew nuts, tart berries, plums and fruitcake. Quite firm and structured on the palate, with plenty of grip and a slightly bitter presence of tannins. But there's also a sweetness and a texture which is apparent from entry onwards, which gives plenty of pleasure. Nice, sweet, chocolate and raspberry edged finish and a decent length. I like this. Drink now and over the next eight years.
