    October 16, 2013 - First had it on release. Was candy like - overly sweet. Now its better but not good. Sweetness is less, but its a simple wine that was way over priced.

    July 31, 2011 - A truly interesting wine. I am not used to the whole clay pot thing but I am impressed. Zin is Zin aged in clay or oak. It had a good punch to it. Garnet red with a heavy fruit forward mouth and prolonged finish. This one will hold up to the heaviest meat dish you can throw at it.

    December 4, 2010 - Some minerals and earthiness, possibly from the clay, on the nose, and huge fruits. One of the guests in our wine group referred to it as a total fruit bomb. Others called it jammy. We tasted it blind with 3 other wines and it faired very well. I think this one still has some life left to it. Could go into mid 2011 or possibly beyond, but tasting very good right now. Plus the bottle itself is a great talking piece to take to a fun wine dinner group.
