November 2, 2016 - Nothing special
October 15, 2012 - Decent balance, with plenty of red fruit and a weak anise overtone. It's in a good place for a meal, though I would suggest more of a red sauce pasta meal than steak. At my <$20 original purchase, it was an excellent value. One of the better supermarket NAPA offerings.
June 7, 2010 - Nice fruit, balance and mouth feel. Smooth finish. A solid wine. Interesting note- it drank well right out of the bottle but picked up hotness or maybe a hint of airplane glue 2 hours in.
April 28, 2010 - Minimal nose. Very tannic after an hour of decanting. Maybe there will be something good here eventually, but I can't tell what it might be.
