July 1, 2023 - Color is pale gold. Nose is developed. I found the oxidative notes of walnuts, fresh baked bread very interesting. They reminded me of Bérêche and Selosse in style. Lovely stuff.

April 10, 2019 - The nose is angular and a bit of a mixed bag where there is noticeable autolytic-driven tones of brioche, biscuits, toast, and roasted nuts while showing something a bit more steely in the fruit with red apples, meyer lemons, ginger, bosc pears, and honeydew. The Medium bodied feel shows off the dichotomy of the nose and is a bit thin on the mid-palate with racy, high acidity. I would like to try other bottlings from Grongnet as there is clearly something here with the complexity, but it just lacks a little bit.
