June 27, 2023 - Beautifully matured Pomerol from a winery that was new to me. Already in tertiary mode with fully resolved tannin but still a pure pleasure to drink. Silky, smooth, delicious. Will buy more.

Popped and poured. Clear, deep ruby color. Clean, medium intense nose, quite spicy, some brett. On the palate creamy, dense, very juicy, silky texture, nice acidity, depth, herbaceous. Good length. 89-90 -

November 24, 2018 - 4th Saturday Group (Sue's): Double blind. Aromas of red fruit, iron and tobacco. Lovely Bordeaux nose. Medium-bodied, with a nice tannin structure for the fruit that's here. Red fruit, earth and iron. Long finish. Balanced. Lovely. I assumed this was another '05 Bordeaux.

September 4, 2017 - Splash decanted. Drunk over three hours. Sappy pine resin. Acid spine. Wow. So much better than my impression of prior bottles.
