November 10, 2014 - This was a bit of a surprise. Decided to open with a burger and salad and it ended up tasting quite nice. It is a rich deep purple and coats the glass. There is a bit of chalk when you first taste it, but that goes away to reveal some dried cherry, celery root and earthiness that was real tasty on a cool evening. Quite a bargain at $13.

August 3, 2014 - Still on the list on the local el cheapo Chinese in Kyneton. Holding up very well at 7yrs of age. Seems cab dominant with subtle green fruits and herbs, perhaps just a fraction lean but works well here. Good balance and presence. A feel good outcome.

March 6, 2013 - Is a sub-$10 bottle and drinks like it. Its not great, not awful. Its just ok. Tannins are really unbalanced, but present in total adequately. There is a lot of minerality, chalk, maybe a little vanilla. Very little in the way of berries or fruits.
