September 21, 2013 - This was a leaking bottle that I unsuccessfully tried to seal with beeswax. I'm not sure how much this affected the bottle, but it seems a bit "light" although, delicious with notes of snicker doodles, maple and toasted nuts.

February 13, 2013 - Warming aromas of butterscotch and caramel. The palate matches with a slightly thick texture, but also shows twigs, nuttiness and spice. Pleasant finish, never hot. All in all a very nice Tawny.

December 10, 2012 - No formal notes. This was a nice basic tawny port, with nut, caramel, and spice on the nose and a good fresh palate impression of raisin and cinnamon. A great companion while decorating the Christmas tree.

December 18, 2008 - Pale color. Strong impression of grilled nuts on the nose. Cherry liqueur flavors with good acidity and moderate sweetness. Very good standard issue tawny.
