    May 25, 2020 - DG 02/2017; vintage base 2009
Beautiful salmon-coral shade of orange. On the nose, a lot of ripe red fruits, wild strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb, blood oranges, violets, juicy red apples and candy apples, candy floss; a gentle spiciness with some ginger and pepper, some slight bitterness on the finish with grapefruit and citrus fruits.
Easy and enjoyable to drink; maybe not the most complex rosé, but not the most generic either. Very refreshing wine with juiciness, and medium-high acidity. Surprisingly pleasant match with dark chocolate.

September 4, 2017 - In general light and not very expressive. I found notes of cherry too marked for my taste. Disappointing for the price.

May 16, 2017 - Bright, salmon pink colour. Cherry, apple, floral, and earth nose. Dry and wonderfully elegant and balanced palate. Long spiced mineral finish.

November 9, 2013 - Super Tasting 6 of 6 - Brunello di Montalcino with Greg (Greg's Place): Very nice nose of raspberries, fresh strawberries, light cherries, with hints of brown sugar and brown spice. Very tart sour acid and a somewhat short finish hold this back a bit.

November 9, 2013 - Tasting Dinner Series (6 of 6); Greg does Montalcino (Greg's House): Popped and poured, rose gold colour in the glass, with a vigorous fine bead. On the nose, much fresher than the earlier Tarlant, with notes of red fruit; strawberry, a touch of cranberry, raspberry; crushed rocks, spice, fresh cut red apple and rosewater. On the palate, nice crisp acids, with a moderate finish.
