  January 12, 2010 - Cassis and cedar on the nose becoming more fruity with breathing. Nice balanced palate which largely follows the nose, a hint of smokey bacon on the back plate which must come from the oak. Quite light bodied but very enjoyable.

  August 21, 2009 - Dark ruby color. Subdued Blackcurrant nose. Tastes of blackberry, cherry, currant, cedar and anise with some pretty French oak. Well balanced. Good freshness. Medium bodied. Sweet tannin. Nice depth on the mid palate and finish. Impressive. Excellent QPR.

  December 28, 2008 - Light bodied and tasty right out of the bottle. With time, I found it to be a little acidic. Without much tannins or a big body, not a long keeper, drink up.
