January 27, 2018 - Alter sichtbar: leichter bräunlicher Rand. Nase indifferent, kommt erst stärker nach 1 Std. Am Gaumen erstaunlich kräftig, leichte Alterfirnis (Tawny-Ton) spürbar, macht den Wein aber interessant, da gute Säure und zwischen süß und bitter wechselnder Extrakt. Liebstöckel, Brühwürfel, Mandeln...Toll! Hält sicher noch ein paar Jahre auf diesem Niveau (G++)

February 25, 2012 - Fresh, clear red colour with nice curtains on the glass; floral scents in the nose; wonderful rich taste with lost of sun and longlasting on the palate. Was still at 80% the following day. Definitely worth recommending if you can lay your hands on a bottle.

November 5, 2011 - Aromas of dark fruit and saw dust. Dark fruit, saw dust, dark chocolate, vanilla, mint on the palate. Smooth. Better after aerate for 2 hours. A bit more overt fruit vs 2005.

A Mallorcan Wine Tasting with Some Interesting Grapes, Episode #797, 1/8/2010 (link) 91 points(Anima Negra An/2) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very new world and fruit driven; some oak; egg nog (a spicy dairy component); dark red fruit (black cherry and strawberry); PALATE-the balance and body weight of this wine is attractive to me; reminds me of a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and a Northern Rhone Syrah; on the attack there's elegance and barnyard like a Pinot Noir, then black pepper on the mid-palate like a Syrah which is very attractive to my palate; a very intriguing wine; extremely good and massively balanced and would go very well with food; very well made; JM-88; GV-91
