  August 11, 2007 - A concentrated sparkler that's best on its own, before or after dinner. Furious, rather coarse bead. Expressive and mostly clean aromas lack any yeasty/doughy character but instead offer nectarine fruit, sweetly scented flowers, and the faintest earth. Finer to the palate than to the eye, with concentrated, fruit driven flavors (nectarine again, but also citrus) and more sweetness than most bruts. Ends on a salty note, showing good extract but lowish acidity. In this price range, Champagne is more attractive for my tastes.
