June 23, 2019 - My initial impression upon smelling the wine was "oxidized". After a bit that impression settled, I think it's a quality of this wine/vintage that the fruit is very ripe, but there's no doubt in my mind it has aged some too and should be drunk now. It's got strong sweet fruit but I might mistake this for Spanish rather than Rhone. It's really big and round. On the back end I get the sense of something waiting underneath that might hurt tomorrow when I come back to this wine. Very nice, but I'm glad this is my last.

Något tunt såklart men väldigt bra.

February 14, 2019 - Very solid wine. Powerful fruit, strong body. Perhaps a little over-ripe, I think that's a vintage characteristic. Drinks well now, might improve, but I have little experience with this type of wine to know that.

March 7, 2017 - Still with some fine tannins, the fruit is very much alive with raspberry, blackberry flavors, black pepper and spice. Some dried rosemary too.

March 4, 2017 - Opened up slowly, a bit of a slight oxidised pong after about 1 hour in the decanter. Came back 3 hours later and wow what a great wine. This has developed into a very together wine. Still has some fruit and freshnes but has a lovely complex body and a satisifying moreish finnish. Like always just don't pop and pour. I think it is in it's sweet spot.
