January 7, 2015 - brought this to a Central Jersey CT off-line tasting at Ursino Restaurant. the wine was in better shape than the 2005 but still, i have to say, a bit tired. improved with air as funk blew off and it perked up quite a bit after awhile. still, not a crowd pleaser although i enjoyed. typical butter, honeysuckle, butter scotch and lemon citrus that i enjoy so much from newton. may have kept a bit too long. live and learn.

December 25, 2014 - Unfortunately I waited way too long to drink this one. The fruit was gone and the remaining nose was reminiscent of a janitor's closet. A previous bottle of Newton Chard (earlier vintage) a few years back was quite memorable.

July 6, 2014 - On the advice of another review, drank this cold...good decision! Still very good...pear, vanilla, lemon, with a little pith. Very long finish. Great to drink alone, or paired with creamy chicken dish.
