November 28, 2013 - Fine wine that drank well with traditional Thanksgivivg fare. Black cherry in color. Chocolate, cherry and earthy on the nose and palate. Smooth and balanced palate.

October 10, 2011 - C- Dense violet N- Deep black fruit, earthy, mushroom, cola T- Medium to full bodied, medium tannins, cola, black currants. Suspect much to come with 2-5 years.
May 15, 2011 - disappointing
February 23, 2011 - A clear day-bright wine with medium plus concentration and aromas of blueberry, stewed black cherry, and spice notes. The palate follows with dark satsuma plum, spice and chocolate notes. A very well made wine, that will drink nicely over the years to come.
February 13, 2011 - Flat and perhaps completely beyond its prime. Was able to enjoy with an acidic meal (veal piccata), but disappointed with the lack of character.

April 19, 2010 - A bit gritty and rough. Even after decanting just was not as smooth as I like my Merlot.
June 7, 2009 - Close to full body with fine merlot taste. Cherries and dark fruit. Elegant.
December 30, 2008 - Hints of violets and a fabulous spiciness show in the nose, a chocolaty creaminess combines with the rich fruit on the palette, and the finish is long, deep, and elegant.
