September 8, 2015 - Deeply coloured. Rich nose of plums, cherry, liquorice and earth. Palate round and mouth filling with good soft tannic finish. Delicious easy bottle of Merlot.

September 1, 2015 - An easy and delicious wine. Soft Merlot flavours of plum and dark cherry. Touches of earth and liquorice with a clean and refreshing finish. An honest example of Merlot outside the St Emilio-Pomerol axis.

July 29, 2015 - Very pleased with this and sorry it's my last one. This is Sooo earthy but in a charming way and there is quite a bit of lovely fruit that accompanies the earthy tones. This is medium-bodied, extended on the palate, some richness, nothing awry really - just a lovely, caressing mouthfeel of smoothness. One of the best value Bordeaux I picked up - glad I got a full case and sorry to see this last one go :-) 91pts+

August 19, 2014 - Pretty similar to previous notes, though the wine is starting to become less unkempt and brash, and is becoming more smooth and even more charming. This was quite the bargain.

June 14, 2014 - Dark colour. Deicious nose of plum, cherry and cassis. Palate rich and voluptuous with quite long savoury tannin finish. Very good St Emilion satellite wines in 2003.
