June 1, 2012 - Trop attendu. A perdu du fruit et de la fraîcheur.

April 4, 2011 - Wine Education Service - Tasmania (LSE): Very light, translucent, showing age.
Slightly closed, leathery fruit but no hint of age on the nose.
Sweet and fruity, soft tannins, very dry finish.

April 4, 2011 - WES - Tasmania (LSE Holbourn): Clear and bright, showing signs of age, pale and medium intense. Dark cherry fruit, perhaps a touch baked. Dry, soft, light - rather simple.

    February 23, 2011 - very disappointed
Unoaked PN is not my cuppa tea ! a little tart and fairly light in flavour
needs to be drunk in one sitting as any PN flavour has gone by the second day and just left with a non descript alcoholic liquid

Miam!

February 4, 2010 - One of the better vintages of this wine. Never has wanted for acidity, but sometimes fruit: 2008 hits the ripe spot, though. Bright aromas of black cherry, cola, spice and fresh herb. Palate is vibrant, if a bit sharp. Flavors of cherry cola with a hint of roast meat and herb.

January 27, 2010 - Brambles and bitter dark cherries on the nose and a palate of the same, but it is smooth and light as well. This wine could last a few years more, and lose some tartness.

December 29, 2009 - a strong 87, but perhaps I committed "vinfanticide" drinking this now... smoky dog poo, leather, and cherries on the nose. sour mustard seeds and pickle brine on the palate, but even with all those old world tasting notes this is still very obviously new world b/c of the low tannins and juicy, ripe fruits on the finish. Can't wait to see how this (screw top!) holds up the next ten years.
