May 29, 2016 - Fully mature. Lots of caramel and toffee. Touch of raspberry fruit.
Solid and enjoyable. Time to drink up.

New oak on the palate reflected by something creamy, vanilla. Spicy.
Very smoothe and balanced. Nice fruit, but more tertiary in flavour profile. Starting to show age. Has matured a lot since last bottle.
January 30, 2016 - Deep red in colour although a bit of bricking on the rim. Classic Pinot nose. Lovely sweetness on the nose and palate.
Lots of spice on the palate with nice balance of fruit. Asian spices.
Very soft tannins, almost not noticeable. Overall I enjoyed this.
September 21, 2014 - As before. This is still a really young wine and should carry on drinking for a decade plus. Still mainly showing bright and clean fruits on the palate.

Lovely red fruits on the nose, particularly raspberry and brambles. Hint of savoury notes on the finish. Bit spicy, although more when opened than after an hour in decanter.
Great balance. Still primary flavours, with again red fruits. Raspberry.
Gentle, rounded, easy to drink. Long finish.
Slightly salty on the finish.
November 27, 2010 - Vibrant ruby core with brownish hue. Simply seductive nose that display tons of alluring VR spice and perfume floral, earth with dark Pinot fruits. Lovely and this continue to flow on to the intense mid palate that is rich, with concentrated pure dark Pinot fruits that riding on the wave of high tone of VR spice, eathy and umami that perfectly balance by the juicy acidity, super silky tannin with fullish mouth feel. This is quite feminine, elegance in style but do not lack of the structure for further aging potential that offer good complexity and juicy, long finish. A lovely Echezeaux. Buy - Maybe

Nice, open, with some gravitas yet light on its feet. Ripe but not
overripe cherry fruit, a bit of earth with a funny(but not at all
unpleasant) sandalwood aromas dancing around.
