February 21, 2024 - A fabulous Brunello in its 30th year.... An ideal complement to a Bistec Florentino. Just gorgeous, tannins resolved, but still has back bone. Luscious cherry. Wow!

October 30, 2023 - Not a big BdM drinker, but quite enjoyed this (I’ve got good record with ‘95s- not as lean as ‘96, not as uberripe as ‘97). Black cherry, espresso, orange zest. Medium bodied, balanced acids, nice length. Sorry last bottl.e B+/A-

May 15, 2021 - Lovely after 26 years. Almost a rust colored brick in the glass. Muted red cherry and strawberry fruit has mostly given way to the tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, earth, red licorice, and stewed tomatoes. Flavor profile is definitely there if you're a older Brunello fan like I am but drink now over the next few years.

March 29, 2021 - A nicely aged Brunello that shows nice aromas of earth, mushrooms and still has good fruit. The tannins are smooth at this point with slight grip at the end. I would suggest drinking now if you have any left!
