October 23, 2017 - Really opened up after slow ox for 4 hours. Improved more after that. Past bottles seemed to open up a bit faster. Rich fruit and tannin. A little less of the mint notes I experienced with previous bottles.

September 10, 2017 - Another great bottle. Drank with a 2012 Etude Cabernet (St Helena?) at a similar price point and this was the unanimous favorite. The extra years of development of the Ehlers certainly helped its cause.

September 7, 2017 - Delicious, with great energy and depth without being too heavy. I agree with many of the earlier notes--this has a lively nose with mint, nutmeg, strawberries. Yum. Great with just a little air time. I am excited to see how this evolves over time.

July 29, 2016 - Dark and dense - purple black. Highly extracted and viscuous. Mint was strongly present on the nose and palate, along with plum, black fruit, and sweet cassis. Long finish.
