June 6, 2020 - Ex-domaine bottle, perfect provenance. Deep orange-gold. Wonderful aromatics, rich buttery and nutty. This is fat and almost opulent with the classic Mersault soft roundness. Concentrated lovely fruit. No signs of oxidation. A shiny example of the heights that well-aged (and premox-free), mature Burgundy whites are capable of reaching.

December 14, 2019 - Just a great bottle of aged Meursault. I realize that Ampeau gasses these wines to allow them to age and slowly develop, but it really is a special bottle.

August 17, 2019 - Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: From a late Domaine release, pristine bottle. Golden color. A lot of Wows on the table from the first smells. This bouquet had it all. Orange peel, flint, lemon curd, grass, flowers, very deep and complex. The palate was crisp as well with excellent freshness and length. WOTN together with the 2009 Comte Lafon.

May 16, 2019 - Corked but less musty and moldy. So muted. Nothing on the palate. Didn't change much at all after a few hours.
