October 24, 2021 - In beautiful shape now but easily a decade more of potential. Decanted 2 hours before drinking but I wish I’d added a couple more hours (first of a case so I have time to get it right). Very together, great length, developing in many layers.

October 22, 2021 - This is certainly in contention for the Left Bank wine of the vintage. Continuing to add weight and complexity, the naturally smoky nose adds oceanic nuances to its leather, tar, dark currant, burning wood, cedar and tobacco leaf nose. Medium/full-bodied, with length, complexity, freshness and a bite of ripe cassis, currant, and spicy, tobacco-covered blackberry on the palate, this is starting to drink quite well. As an added plus, this could be the best deal in older LMHB available today.

August 12, 2021 - Wine still looked very young in the glass. Cherry-red with medium intensity and only a small change of colour in the rim.

Dominating primary aroma's in the nose with ripe cherry, blueberry, prune, cranberry, leather and some cacao.

On the palate: a little bit unripe and harsh tannins, medium + acidity.
Flavors of cherry, cedar, prune, leather, the unripe aroma's of green paprika and some vanilla in the retro with a long finish.

April 9, 2021 - Very solid and impressive nose. But lacking seductiveness a little.

March 30, 2021 - My first bottle and probably should have started drinking these younger to see development. This is pretty mature with still good fruit but much of the tannin resolved and flavors of mature, earthy Bdx.
