March 21, 2024 - Dark and opaque garnet color. Aromas of lead pencil, sage, dried herbs, black fruits and black pepper. Same on the palate, full body and integrated tannins. Long finish. I need to revisit the 2001s more, as I think they suffered from the comparison to the 2000s and they are quite delicious now.
