November 18, 2011 - A nice medium golden coloring when poured with an initial aroma of peach and apricot. A nice structured, integrated and smooth wine with a hint of oxidation that blew off after about 15 minutes. Very smooth but just seemed a bit off somehow, hence the lower score. Possibly on the precipice off "over the hill".

September 6, 2009 - For those concerned about Girardin's use of oak, this wine has nicely integrated. No premox problems either. Color was a clear and bright golden yellow. The nose was fruity and floral, if a touch restrained. Good balance of fruits (peach and lemon) and acidity. A nuanced wine with enough of an edge to support dinner.

October 19, 2008 - Not poxed, but the acidity has gone, leaving this thick, and unappetisingly sickly sweet

September 13, 2007 - Lovely, deep, oaky white burgundy, lusciously fruity, tangy - loved this

September 10, 2005 - This gets better and better. Mouthwatering chardonnay fruit to start with, but then layer upon layer of richness and minerality, powerful and long - very striking and impressive

April 8, 2005 - Another superb Girardin 2002 white. Minerals and fruit, refreshing acidity, just the right amount of oak. Delicious
